About Sara
Sara Masaeli joined Brown & Riding in 2014 as a Practice Group Coordinator. While having no previous experience in the insurance sector, she quickly adapted, becoming extremely well-versed in the industry, its common practices, systems, and compliance requirements. Quickly recognizing Sara’s diverse skillsets, she was tasked by senior management to take a lead role in B&R’s transition to a new agency management system. This major endeavor required extensive data migration, process and efficiency analysis, and overall project management skills.
Having excelled at all tasks associated with the project, Sara’s role formally shifted to that of Business Systems Analyst. As part of that role, Sara became the liaison between B&R’s external application vendors and its internal business units. She also helps ensure B&R’s agency management system runs smoothly, that B&R continues to improve its processes, and that staff are properly trained and proficient in all systems.
Sara was promoted to Senior Business Systems Analyst in 2018 and shortly thereafter to Assistant Vice President. She became Vice President in 2020, and in 2022 became a shareholder and Principal of the company. Sara is a critical leader of a seven-figure technology project for the firm, playing a crucial role throughout the RFP, design, testing, and implementation stages.
