About Beau
Beau Cantrell runs a successful book of Transportation business, specializing in distressed Primary Auto. He finds solutions for hard-to-place auto risks that don’t fit the standard market. He accesses higher-risk-tolerant markets and consistently presents comprehensive insurance options to his clients by negotiating competitive terms and pricing within the E&S marketplace.
Beau earned a Managerial Finance degree as well as his Risk Management & Insurance (RMI) degree from the University of Mississippi in 2013. While in school, he participated in three internships, giving him a nearly two-year head start on his insurance career. His first two internships were with retailers, and his third internship was with Brown & Riding. He joined the firm as a full-time Production Assistant in 2013, was promoted to Production Associate in 2015, Associate Broker in 2016, and Assistant Vice President in 2018. He became a Broker in 2019.
Beau has earned and maintained his Transportation Risk Specialist (TRS) designation since 2017. He is a current member of the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation (MCIEF), attends their annual conference each year, and has participated as a member of their marketing committee.
