About Anne
Anne Lund is a Principal and the Financial Institutions Practice Leader at Brown & Riding, working with almost every specialty market in the sector. She leads her team in analyzing and negotiating Directors & Officers (D&O) and Errors & Omissions coverages as well as other related Management & Professional Liability products.
Anne manages a large book of banks, credit unions, asset managers, trusts, venture capital firms, broker dealers, investment advisors, non-bank lending institutions, general partnerships, and private equity firms. She helped many distressed banks and credit unions navigate Management Liability placements through the Financial Crisis. Anne is also a popular personality on the lecture circuit, sharing her unique expertise on a wide range of exposures, including D&O, Financial Services Errors & Omissions, Fidelity Bonds, Fiduciary Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Cyber Liability.
Anne has been with B&R since 2000 (previously working at Alexander Morford & Woo when the companies merged in 2010). Prior to that, she was an Underwriter for an insurance company. She is Past President of the Washington Surplus Lines Association and is on the Washington Insurance Commissioner’s Producer Advisory Committee. In 2018, she was named one of Insurance Business America’s Elite Women. Anne graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. In her free time, she enjoys skiing and sailing.
